Who are we looking for? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Auditor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has already gained some work experience (ideally in the powered access industry) and who is either looking to retrain or develop their career in auditing.

Your remit

Working title: Trainee Auditor
Work location: Field-based in the United Kingdom with regular travel
Duration of training: Approximately six months

Your competencies:

1. Knowledge of the powered access industry.
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English and ideally one other language.
3. High customer orientation and strong communication skills.
4. Ability to make decisions.
5. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
6. IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
7. A proactive approach to learning and self-improvement.
8. Full UK driving license (or ability to travel to sites).
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A keen interest in auditing, safety, and the powered access industry.

Your role once trained: Auditor

Following the six months training programme, as a fully trained auditor you would be expected to perform the following tasks:

1. Conduct Training Centre Audits.
2. Conduct Instructor assessments.
3. Conduct SSIP audits.

Your duties:

1. Ensure compliance with all regulations in the territory in relation to your activities as an IPAF auditor.
2. Comply with the audit programme requirements.
3. Provide an effective audit service in accordance with IPAF governance.

2. Lead Auditor in one of the following ISO standards: ISO 9001 (Quality Management systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) or ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems).
