Trading Services Analyst

Join our team as a Trading Services Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of trade positions and settlements. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in process re-engineering and automation, driving efficiency and innovation.

As a Trading Services Analyst within Trading Servicing Team, you will be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless operations and contribute to new initiatives and technology enhancements.

Job responsibilities :

• Uploads market data to different risk management systems.
• Performs reconciliations against market sources.
• Conducts numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, and middle office to back office reconciliations.
• Investigates and provides solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations.
• Produces management statistics.
• Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements, including new system implementations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
• Process flow understanding, including the ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think about how the process can be improved/streamlined.
• Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pm.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Experience in process re-engineering and automation.
• Previous experience in the finance industry (operations roles).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
