About this role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Trading Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the trading performance, pricing, and promotions for our segments. You will gain a deep understanding of our competitive position in our markets playing a key role in driving growth and profitability. To achieve this, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including analytics, commercial finance, and marketing.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

1. Monitor and analyse the trading performance of the channel, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to ensure we are hitting our growth and profitability targets.
2. Proactively address performance issues and develop action plans, alongside sales teams, to mitigate risks and identify and act on trading opportunities to maximise growth.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective pricing and promotion strategies.
4. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
5. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of competitor strategies, including their product offerings, pricing models, marketing tactics, and target markets.

What will you bring to the table?

1. Proven experience in a trading or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or food delivery industry with a strong B2C focus.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
