Contract: Trader Voice Engineer
Location: On-site in London (5 days a week)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)

Global IT Systems Integrator requires an experienced Trader Voice Engineer with solid Trade Floor experience for a 6-month contract on site at Tier 1 Bank in London. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive engineer with a strong background in Trader voice technologies and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support and maintenance for voice systems on a busy trade floor
2. Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless voice operations
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple platforms and technologies

Required Experience:

1. Proven background as a Voice Engineer in a Trade Floor environment
2. Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in a fast-paced financial setting
3. Well-rounded experience across multiple systems - not siloed to one platform
4. Trader Voice - turrets experience required, ideally within Tier 1 banking
5. BT/BTT Product/Azure based
6. IPC skills (Legacy on prem + Cloud based)
7. Experience with:
1. Conexxus
2. Cloud 9/Symfony
3. Flexinet
4. SIP protocol
5. One-view
6. VDI experience/Citrix/Voice Over Internet > VPN
7. AWS/Azure/GCP
8. L3/L4 troubleshooting/support

Character Profile:

1. Experience working on trade floor/with traders
2. Thick skin - able to cope in a high-pressure environment
3. A true subject matter expert - someone who can dive deep on technical elements + challenge/question when requests come in.
