M&S Food is changing, and fast! We are undergoing one of the biggest transformations in retailing today to build a bigger, better, fresher food business.
We are looking for a Food Trade Planning manager to ensure the smooth running and coordination of the trade plan across foods. This is a high exposure role at the heart of our Food business which will work cross functionally within the food group to ensure propositions are well planned, executed and delivered in line with critical path.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

Key Accountabilities
- Have an overarching understanding of the trade plan, supporting the delivery of the Food Group strategy.
- Manage and maintain relationships across the Food Group including buying teams, supply chain, marketing and retail operations to ensure alignment cross functionally, in order to enable successful delivery of the trade plan from vision stage right through to implementation in store.
- Coordinating and gathering data for meetings and presenting and leading sessions.
- Ensuring all trade plan documents are accurate, up to date and delivered within critical path.
- Ability to analyse data and escalate any risks that may affect the trade plan or critical path.
