Job Title: Trade Marketing Specialist

Location: Luton (with 20% domestic travel, occasional international)

Our client, a leading player in the consumer goods industry, is seeking an ambitious and skilled Trade Marketing Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional to bring their creativity and strategic thinking to a dynamic role that will make a real impact.

As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving trade marketing activities across both digital and physical retail channels. Working closely with sales teams, you will ensure that all trade marketing initiatives are perfectly aligned with business objectives, delivering campaigns that are innovative, effective, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities of the Trade Marketing Specialist:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans that drive brand visibility and engagement across both digital and in-store retail channels.
  • Act as the key point of contact for retailers, ensuring strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Manage trade events, promotions, and incentives, delivering to a high standard and maximising return on investment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing assets are on-brand, aligned with commercial priorities, and tailored to local market needs.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of experience in trade or digital marketing, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK retail and trade marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Further education qualifications, including Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in business English.
