Job Title: Trade Marketing and Events Manager

Purpose of the Role:

Recruit new consumers into Assisi brands by building strong brand presence and understanding with consumers and trade at industry and customer events and through partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Organise and manage representation at key trade shows and events, such as Crufts and various retailer events, ensuring a strong brand presence and effective engagement with customers and partners. Partner with brand managers and agencies to develop effective and cost-efficient communication and exhibition materials, in line with brand standards.
  • Sponsorship and Partnerships: Identify and negotiate sponsorship opportunities that align with our brand and business goals. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to elevate brand visibility.
  • Trade Marketing Events Strategy: Develop and implement effective trade marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and drive ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the business unit controllers, brand managers, sales channel heads and breeder sales to align initiatives with customer, business and brand priorities. Ensure alignment on channel, brand and product focuses.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute promotional campaigns aimed at retailers and distributors, including in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, and trade advertisements.
  • Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and events through KPIs and reporting, making adjustments as necessary to enhance performance.

  • Experience with Events is essential for this role
  • Proven trade marketing and events experience (Minimum of 3 years)
