Main Purpose of the Role: The Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of trade finance products, including letters of credit and collections. This role involves adhering to relevant rules and procedures, supporting administrative tasks, and delivering high-level service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing life cycle events of letters of credit and collections.
Handling various financing products such as trade-based loans and invoice discounting.
Adhering to governing rules, procedures, and controls.
Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders.
Supporting team training requirements.
Promoting a customer-first attitude and professional communication.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Performing administrative tasks and end-of-day controls.
Providing subject matter expertise as needed.
Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a trade finance operations environment.
Skills and Experience:
Understanding of trade finance products and relevant rules.
Knowledge of compliance and sanction policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong workflow and time management skills.
Team building skills.
Education / Qualifications:
University degree (essential).
Relevant certifications (preferred).
