The planning team is experiencing significant growth and is looking for talented Town Planners at various levels to join their nationwide network of offices. The Opportunities:

In this role, you will work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects such as energy, water, roads, rail, ports, and airports, contributing to the success of projects from inception through to on-site delivery. You'll be part of a team known for its holistic service, helping to meet the needs and aspirations of developers, communities, local planning authorities, and central government.

The organisation's national town planning team is respected for its expertise, offering professional, innovative, and reliable advice on projects. As part of the team, you will be involved in high-impact planning work that directly influences the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contributing to the delivery of infrastructure planning projects from concept to implementation.
  2. Advising clients on planning policies, legislation, and the best strategies for their developments.
  3. Leading and managing client relationships, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  4. Developing planning reports, presenting complex issues clearly, and ensuring that projects align with client and regulatory requirements.
  5. For senior-level candidates, the opportunity to lead teams and mentor junior planners.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. A degree and/or master's in Town Planning, Geography, or a related field.
  2. A strong understanding of planning legislation and policies.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and manage client relationships effectively.
  4. Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) is desirable but not essential for all roles.
  5. Experience in development management is an advantage.
