We are working with an established planning consultancy, renowned for providing high-quality planning advice and delivering a range of complex and exciting projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert planning advice to clients on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  2. Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, ensuring they are in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  3. Conduct site assessments and assessments of local planning policies and prepare reports for clients.
  4. Work closely with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Lead and manage client relationships, offering proactive and strategic planning guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Stay up to date with local planning policies and legislation.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. A degree in Town Planning (or related field) and full RTPI membership (or working towards).
  2. Proven experience in planning, ideally within a consultancy or local authority setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and legislation.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  5. A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
