About the Role: We are partnering with a well-respected planning consultancy based in Sheffield, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to take the next step in their career, contributing to a variety of high-profile projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing expert planning advice to clients on a range of development projects.
2. Preparing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents.
3. Conducting site assessments and providing advice on site selection and development potential.
4. Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community to facilitate smooth planning processes.
5. Contributing to the growth and success of the business by delivering excellent service to clients.

About You:

1. You will have a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline and be a Full Member of the RTPI (or eligible to achieve this).
2. Proven experience in town planning, ideally within the private sector.
3. Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
4. Experience working on development projects in both urban and rural settings.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to grow within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
