About us:

Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.

We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges, ink bottles and textile inks. These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.

Salary:

£13,546

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. To conduct maintenance tasks in accordance with detailed work sheets, schedules and Department procedures.
2. To ensure all tools, equipment, spares and consumables required to complete the planned maintenance activities are controlled and stored well, maintained in an appropriate manner and are available to meet manufacturing requirements.
3. To ensure replacement/repair items are processed as efficiently and effectively to eliminate Production Line down time.
4. To ensure all drawings are generated and controlled in accordance with Department procedures.
5. To ensure all activities are conducted with the upmost respect for Health & Safety of oneself and other Employees, continually reviewed and all data sheets for Hazardous Chemicals/Substances are in place and logged.
6. Produce parts to drawing specifications on millers, lathes, surface grinders.

1. GSCE’s in Maths / English at grade 4 and above.
2. Computer knowledge of Microsoft packages.
3. Desire and ambition to succeed within a Toolroom environment.
