Elevation Recruitment is working on behalf of a Worksop-based manufacturer to recruit an experienced Toolmaker.

The Toolmaker will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and examination of all types of tooling to ensure safe and efficient operation, supporting production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, correct, and modify tooling to meet quality standards.
  • Perform various multi-skilled tasks to support production.
  • Operate CNC Milling, Turning, and Erosion machines.
  • Ensure all tasks meet company quality policies and procedures.
  • Observe and follow safe working practices in line with company health and safety policies and relevant legislation (e.g., HASAWA 1974).
  • Undertake training and development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader.
  • Communicate any issues affecting role or responsibilities to the Tool Room Supervisor.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship trained or time-served Toolmaker.
  • Knowledge of abrasive wheel regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety at Work regulations.
