Currently recruiting for an experienced Tooling Engineer for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is a varied role and will include ensuring components are produced correctly by supplying correct and accurate tooling to operatives.

Role Responsibilities

1. Ensure that machine processes are running at optimum efficiency in regards to the tooling required.
2. Support and advise other employees when required in regard to tooling.
3. Communicate effectively and regularly with CNC supervisors and programme writers ensuring loading board instructions are accurate and up to date, maximizing production.
4. Ensure that all tooling requirements are in place before components are loaded onto machines.
5. Adhere to tooling setup sheets and kitting lists, assisting in developing company procedures.
6. Provide feedback to line managers and supervisors regarding changes to programmes before changing masters.
7. Ensure that tooling is set correctly and accurately ready for use by operators.
8. Oversee the reuse and regrinding of tools, ensuring tooling remains effective and efficient.

Role Requirements

1. Strong understanding of Machining and Toolroom.
2. Background with changing tools and a solid understanding of these processes is essential.
3. Good attention to detail and communication skills are required.
