Responsibilities:
Title Examination:
Conduct thorough examinations of property titles to identify any issues or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to property titles.
Document Review:
Review and analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, and contracts.
Verify the accuracy of information and resolve any discrepancies.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external agencies to gather necessary information and resolve title-related issues.
Research:
Conduct research on property records, land surveys, and zoning information.
Stay updated on changes in property laws and regulations.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision in title examinations.
Provide recommendations for resolving title-related challenges.
Qualifications:
Legal Background:
Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
Previous experience in conveyancing or property law is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inaccuracies in legal documents.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex legal documents and resolve title issues.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with relevant software and databases for title searches and legal research.
