We are looking to employ a full-time experienced TIG Welder Fabricator, offering excellent progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities of a TIG Welder Fabricator

1. Competent time served MIG welder of mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium
2. Competent time served TIG welder of mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium
3. Able to read welding & fabrication drawings
4. Knowledge of marking out, sawing, drilling, shearing, & fettling
5. Ensure that safe working practices are adopted
6. Any other reasonable request by a manager or Director

Essential Skills & Experience for a TIG Welder Fabricator

1. Experience in MIG welding
2. Experience in TIG welding
3. Experience in metal fabrication
4. Experience in programming Robotic welding cells (not essential)
5. Experience in laser welding (not essential)
6. Able to work from engineering drawings
7. Good organizational skills
8. Ability to work under minimum supervision
9. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
10. Ability to work under pressure
11. Self-motivated individual
12. Possess excellent attention to detail

Benefits for a TIG Welder Fabricator

1. 20 days of annual leave (+Bank holidays & Christmas holidays)
2. Pension Scheme
3. 38.5 working hours: 07.30 - 16.30 (Monday to Thursday) & 07.30 - 12.00 (Friday), 30 min lunch break & 2 x 15 min tea breaks
4. Overtime @ x 1.5 hourly rate
5. Salary £15.00 to £18.00
