Job description
CNC Recruitment is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our client in the Ilminster area on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a reputable company while enhancing their welding expertise.
Location: Ilminster, Somerset
Contract Duration: March to June 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: £17 per hour (weekly pay)
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG welding stainless steel components to a high standard.
- Working to production schedules to meet order deadlines.
- Maintaining efficiency without compromising speed and quality.
- Ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish, as all welds will be visible.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Understanding of technical drawings and welding symbols is desirable.
