TIG / Hygenic Welder
Up to £20 per hour DOE
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm

Are you an experienced Tig Welder with a passion for precision and attention to detail? Do you thrive in a manufacturing environment and have a knack for working with stainless steel? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client, based near Yeovil, is searching for a talented TIG Welder to join their growing team. You'll primarily be working on food grade welding projects, using your expertise to create stainless steel hygienic welds for silos and other manufacturing equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Mig and Tig welding on stainless steel components for silos and other manufacturing equipment
  2. Ensure that all welds meet food grade standards and are hygienic
  3. Use purge welding techniques when necessary
  4. Interpret drawings and sketches to produce accurate welds
  5. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  7. Communicate any issues or concerns with the welding process to the supervisor
