Position:

Unity is looking for a Workshop Foreman to join the business in Aberdeen on a permanent, full-time basis.

The ideal candidate would have a strong background in servicing and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic downhole and surface tools.

This position provides opportunity for career development within Unity, which is part of the FrontRow Energy Technology Group.

Key Responsibilities Will Include the Following:

  • Carry out daily tasks in a safe and effective manner
  • Ensure correct tools are available for the specific tasks
  • Perform strip, clean, and inspection of equipment as required
  • Perform test and assembly of equipment as required
  • Pro-actively work towards building competency portfolio
  • Fault finding and determining proper solutions
  • Ensure all lifting equipment being used is within certification
  • Forklift activities as required, providing the correct training has been received
  • Assist in the maintenance of all equipment in the workshop
  • Ensure the workshop area is tidy and adheres to company policies
  • Attend all training assigned
  • Assist in training and mentoring of trainees

Job Knowledge And Experience:
  • Demonstrable industry experience
  • Inspection skills/experience would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical workings
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work well as an individual or part of a team and to tight deadlines
