Are you a skilled Thread Roller with Precision Engineering experience? If yes, read on….

My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Barrow-in-Furness and commutable from Newton in Furness, Dalton-in-Furness, Great Urswick, Lindal in Furness and Askam-in-Furness. They are currently looking for a skilled Thread Roller to join their team.

The Role: Thread Roller
  1. Operate and set up thread rolling machines to produce precision components
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  3. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  4. Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
  5. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of thread rolling machines
  6. Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements
  7. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: Thread Rolling
  1. Previous experience operating thread rolling machines
  2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  3. Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control processes
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
The Package: Thread Roller
  1. Starting rate up to £24 per hour dependent on experience
  2. 4 Day week - Day shifts are Mon – Wed, 07:30-18:00 Thursday - 07:30-16:00
  3. Pension and Healthcare scheme
  4. 29 Days Holidays - Including Bank Holidays
  5. Overtime and Weekend Work available
