Theatre / Ambulatory Practitioner
Glasgow Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Includes weekend work
Up to £41,250 (pro rata), depending on experience
16 Hours Per Week

Main duties of the job

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  • Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team
  • Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring
  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
  • Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital
Located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow; you will be working at one of Scotland's leading private hospitals. This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.

Job description

As a Theatre / Ambulatory Practitioner at our Glasgow Hospital, you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You're also a great team worker.
