Test Technician

Chase Taylor Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer of bespoke Aluminium Bi-folding Doors and Windows. They are seeking a skilled Test Technician with expertise in CAD and experience in compliance testing to support their product testing processes and ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and support New Product Testing and Compliance Testing
2. Assist in solving root cause of product non-compliance
3. Review and oversee implementation of improvement requests in a technical capacity
4. Create and maintain test reports for indicative and Compliance Testing
5. Review and advise on installation details and assist with the writing of install manuals
6. Support SHEQ with ensuring documentation is complete for compliance

Knowledge and Experience Required:

1. Industry experience heavily advantageous but not required
2. CAD skills having used either 2D or 3D CAD is desirable but not required
3. Experience in indicative testing and/or compliance testing
4. Some experience with electronics and actuators would be beneficial
5. Experienced with the use of measurement equipment (DTIs, LVDTs, Verniers etc)
6. Installation experience with fenestration products
7. HNC/HND (or higher) in Engineering or equivalent relevant subject (or proof of capabilities)
