MERITUS Talent are working with Europe's leading weapons manufacturer for the recruitment of a Test Systems Product Safety Engineer on a 6 month contract (Inside IR35). Due to the sensitivity of the work, candidates need a valid UK passport.

What you'll be doing:

1. Taking responsibility for product safety assessments.
2. Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
3. Conducting safety analyses and risk assessments.
4. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure safety is integrated into product design.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in product safety engineering.
2. Knowledge of safety standards in the defense industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
