About Our Client

The company is one of the largest and fastest growing in the Insurance sector. This role is remote with one day a week needed at either the Manchester or Stoke office.

Job Description

• This is a hands-off Manager role and you will have a team of 5 reporting to you.
• Develop and implement a QA strategy.
• Define and promote QA best practices.
• Work closely with other departments and act as a QA ambassador for the organisation.
• Adopt an automation-first mindset, finding the right balance between automated, exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing.

The Successful Applicant

Must haves:

• 2 years+ experience in a Test Manager role.
• Hands-on testing experience and in-depth knowledge of QA tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of implementing Quality Gates and Test Governance.
• Knowledge of NFT and OAT.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.

Nice to haves:

• Finance, insurance, or regulated background.
• Understanding of the automation test pyramid.
• Familiarity with Agile test quadrants.
