Test Lead

Job Title: Test Lead
Location: London (Hybrid working, 1-2 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: 6 Months (potential for extension)
Pay: £500 - £600 per day

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to support the globalisation of its Sales & Operations Planning processes and systems (SAP IBP). You will serve as the main point of contact for coordinating and governing end-to-end testing throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
2. Collaborate with technical and business teams to define testing strategies and assess the impact of changes across systems.
3. Develop test cases and ensure the availability of associated test data.
4. Manage, plan, estimate, and schedule testing activities.
5. Report on testing progress and track issues identified during testing through to resolution.
6. Secure and assure the integrity of testing environments for the relevant testing cycles.
7. Review and assure the quality of test plans and test cases.
8. Perform testing as required.

1. Proven experience working across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change, from requirements definition through solution design, build, testing, and transition to live operations.
2. Experience working on IT application projects, including ERP and Business Planning Solutions, Product Information Management, Product Data Management, and Data Interfaces/Systems Integration.
3. A strong understanding of supply chain and logistics in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, as well as Product Data Management and Bill of Materials is desirable.
4. Familiarity with testing tools such as qTest, HP ALM.
5. Experience working with ITIL, Prince2, and Agile methodologies.
6. Expertise in working with diverse stakeholders and audiences in a matrix organisation.
7. Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders based on sound reasoning.
8. Excellent written, verbal, social, and decision-making skills, along with high organisational and self-motivation.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Service Now, Confluence, Trello, Slack, and MS Teams.
11. Experience working within controlled/compliance-based environments (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley) is beneficial.
