POSITION: Test Engineer (HCC Radios Hardware Testing)

LOCATION: Stafford/Quantico, VA

STATUS: Full time Contingent

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience: 5 plus years of related experience - HCC Radios Hardware Testing
  2. Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. with Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
  3. Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support test execution
  4. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Significant Experience: T&E Documentation
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering field
  3. Training: Defense Acquisition University courses and DoD 500.2 manual

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Provide a mixture of matrixed and dedicated T&E SME support to the government client
  2. Analyze system requirements and concepts of operation, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop and or review evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for, coordinate, conduct and facilitate data collection and analysis, as well as prepare reports in accordance with client guidance.
  3. Review and provide input to other programmatic documentation and efforts that require T&E provisions.
  4. Draft, update, and/or finalize required test documents, to include but not limited to: Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Test Plans, Test Reports, Test Readiness Review briefs, Technical Review Action Plans.
  5. Provide test and evaluation support to the government client IAW the Integrated T&E Handbook, policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  6. Plan, coordinate, execute, and report program testing and/or coordinate, when necessary, with third party test facilities for the execution of test requirements.
  7. Develop and update Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), electronic TEMPs (eTEMPs) and Annexes, test strategies, detailed test plans, test procedures and test schedules. Provide T&E SME support to all other program competencies as necessary.
  8. Provide recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
  9. Assist the government with drafting documents, providing comments and edits to documents pertaining to these items, participation in meetings, and providing input.
