Test Engineer - Electrical

My client who works within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.

Key Details:

  1. Monday to Friday - 39hrs per week.
  2. Permanent contract.
  3. Negotiable salary, up to £35,000.

Duties and Experience:

  1. Responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical systems, subassemblies and components.
  2. Read and interpret manuals, performance specifications, test schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders.
  3. Analyse test data to determine faults, document defects, and perform component-level repairs where necessary.
  4. Cut, crimp, form, solder and strip wires/cables for circuits and subassemblies.
  5. Must have an understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO14501 compliance requirements.
  6. Must have the ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, safety instructions and operating procedures.
