Test Engineer - Electrical
My client who works within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.
Key Details:
- Monday to Friday - 39hrs per week.
- Permanent contract.
- Negotiable salary, up to £35,000.
Duties and Experience:
- Responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical systems, subassemblies and components.
- Read and interpret manuals, performance specifications, test schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders.
- Analyse test data to determine faults, document defects, and perform component-level repairs where necessary.
- Cut, crimp, form, solder and strip wires/cables for circuits and subassemblies.
- Must have an understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO14501 compliance requirements.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, safety instructions and operating procedures.
