Integration and Test Engineer

Earn up to £65,000 + benefits

An opportunity to play a key role in the integration and testing of mission-critical Defence, Cyber, and Intelligence systems, contributing to national security and technological advancement.

Role Overview

• Design, integrate, and deploy complex software systems for real-world security operations
• Develop and execute test plans, ensuring compliance with technical requirements
• Build and implement automated test frameworks within CI/CD pipelines
• Debug and resolve issues across full-stack architectures, from front-end applications to backend systems
• Work on cloud-based, hybrid, and multi-system environments

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in software integration and testing within Agile and DevSecOps environments
• Hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimise large-scale software systems
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing, including automation, analysis, and reporting
• ISTQB certifications (Foundation, Agile, Performance, Security) or equivalent are desirable

Additional Skills:

• Experience optimising CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based deployments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and hybrid cloud integrations
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, and Lambda
• Knowledge of AWS SDK (Boto3) and CloudTrail for automation and security auditing
