A top-tier financial services organization in London is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to play a critical role in quality assurance, working with business and IT teams to deliver flawless solutions.

About the Role

As a Test Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering a suite of testing activities across various departments, ensuring system functionalities meet the high standards expected in the finance sector. This role demands a keen eye for detail, as you will be responsible for documenting user workflows, creating accurate test cases, and maintaining test data within Azure DevOps (ADO), with additional work in the Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Test Development: Work closely with users to understand their workflows, gathering detailed requirements and translating them into test cases and user stories.
• Test Case Documentation & Uploading: Document and upload use cases and associated test cases into the test system for traceable and streamlined testing processes.
• Test Execution & User Support: Execute test cases and support end-users in carrying out test executions, ensuring any issues are quickly identified and resolved.
• Test Coordination & Reporting: Generate test reports, track metrics, and manage administration tasks, providing valuable insights into testing progress and quality standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with the Test Manager, Business Analysts, IT staff, and users to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

Tech Stack & Tools

• Azure DevOps (ADO) for Wiki and boards management, leveraging MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with front office trading systems such as Kondor+, Calypso is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience as a Test Analyst within the finance industry, whether on the business side (Operations/Settlements) or in IT roles.
• Proficient in documenting and managing test cases, with a hands-on approach to using Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
