  2. Tue: 10:00 - 16:00
  3. Thu: 13:00 - 19:00

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.02 an hour; this increases to £13.15 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
  2. Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within your store.
  3. Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  4. Putting into practice the training you have received, ensuring safety and effective service.
  5. Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet customer needs.
  6. Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
  7. Being knowledgeable about your store’s performance and contributing to service and sales.
  8. Handling products with care to maintain quality.
  9. Living our values and making everyone feel welcome.
  10. Accepting deliveries into the store when required.

You will need:

  1. A passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
  2. The ability to build rapport with customers.
  3. To take the initiative and make decisions that are right for customers.
  4. Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
  5. Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
