Availability Window:

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.02 an hour; this increases to £13.15 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.

You will be responsible for:
  1. Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride.
  2. Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  3. Working across the store in our service, picking, and replenishment areas where required.
  4. Putting into practice the training you have received.
  5. Making decisions that are right for customers.
  6. Taking part in seasonal, community, and charity events.
  7. Being knowledgeable about your store’s performance.
  8. Handling products with care to maintain quality.
  9. Being myself, living our values, and following our policies.
  10. Accepting deliveries into the store as required.
You will need:
  1. A passion for delivering great service.
  2. The ability to build rapport with customers.
  3. To take the initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers.
  4. Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
  5. Be at work on time, well presented, and ready to be a brand ambassador.
