Territory Sales Manager - UK & Ireland

CSG Talent is currently partnering with a global leader in custom-engineered solutions for the material processing industry, with a long-standing reputation for delivering safer, simpler, and smarter equipment.

The Territory Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships. The role involves managing the complete sales process, providing customer service support, delivering product training, and overseeing regional sales activities.

In particular, you will need to have experience with processing equipment - feeder, screen boxes, screens, crushers and a good network both in natural deposits and aggregates (or the ability to support the creation of one).

The ideal candidate can be located anywhere in the UK or Ireland, as long as they can travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Prospect and engage with new clients to expand the company's customer base across the region.
  • Provide product demonstrations, technical support, and training to customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with the internal team, including engineering and customer support, to address client needs effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build brand awareness and network with potential clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in selling complex equipment or solutions within the manufacturing or material processing industry.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and other sales management software.
  • Ability to analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of the material processing industry is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
