Job description

Term-time only Nursery Nurse - Tipton.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking for a term-time only position in Nurseries around Tipton? We are seeking compassionate Nursery Nurses to join Aspire People to work in a Nursery in Tipton.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support and assistance to all children in the Nursery.
  2. Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs.
  3. Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development, promoting their self-confidence and independence.
  4. Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student can thrive.
  5. Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities.
  6. Assist with the assessment of the student's progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher and parents.

Requirements:
  1. Level 2/3 Childcare (or ratio equivalent).
  2. Previous experience working within a Nursery.
  3. Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
  5. Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  7. Knowledge of relevant teaching methodologies and resources for supporting individual students.
  8. Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role are desirable but not essential.
