Job description

Your Tasks

• Handling of RFX’s received for the road packed business in terms of pricing and solution design; the entire process from RFX received to post tender review will be lead.
• Connect to Operations and clarify possibilities, demands and needs.
• Align with Operations and other stakeholders on specific RFQ’s.
• Document RFX handling, feedback and the final outcome.
• Prepare a database of information for discussion with Operations & the Management.
• Collect information about demands and market changes out of the RFX material.
• Provide input for the CRM and make sure that information is shared.
• Take over the role as opportunity owner in case no sales lead is available.

Your Profile

• Experience in the logistics and transportation industry (focus automotive is a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in business administration/engineering/logistics or similar, or education as a forwarding merchant with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Experience in commercial activity for road transportation.
• You are fluent in German and English.
• Detailed understanding of local JIT/JIS, Shuttle, “Gebietsspeditionssetup” appreciated.
• Detailed understanding of the European Road Transport market is a plus.
• You have excellent know-how of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
