Tender Manager / Bid Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

Salary: Circa £60K DOE, plus 20% Bonus and benefits

EXCELLENT HOME-BASED OPPORTUNITY FOR A SEASONED TENDER MANAGER / PROPOSAL MANAGER / BID MANAGER TO JOIN A MARKET LEADER IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING INDUSTRY.

PACKAGE: Circa £60K DOE, plus 20% Bonus and benefits

LOCATION: Home Based with little requirement to travel (mileage paid if so)

Responsibilities:

1. Managing the preparation and completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s), Invitation to Tenders (ITT’s) and tender documents in alignment with customer requirements.
2. Overseeing the complete bid process from start to finish.
3. Managing the flow of documentation and monitoring contract notices in a time-critical environment.
4. Winning tenders.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Experience managing bids/tenders from cradle to grave for services such as Waste, Grounds Maintenance, etc.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Good typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Previous experience of bid and tender writing.
5. A UK Driving Licence.
6. A Degree or Master’s would be an advantage as it demonstrates the ability to research and write reports/dissertations.
