Tenancy Co-Ordinator
Clifton, Bristol
£24k basic salary with a £26K OTE

Due to continued expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual who can shine within an established team that is already providing the very highest level of service to our clients. Are you the right person to join our successful team?

The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to always deliver excellent customer service. Experience within lettings and specifically renewals/serving of notices and/or drawing up tenancy agreements is essential.

Principal Accountabilities:
  1. Proactively managing and processing tenancy renewals.
  2. Building & maintaining strong working relationships with our Landlords & Tenants.
  3. Completing annual rent reviews on our managed portfolio - Preparing ‘Best Price Guides’ to support/evidence our valuations.
  4. Leading our engagement with Landlords (primarily via phone and emails) regarding future plans for their properties/tenancies, advising Landlords on rental possibilities/market conditions, agreeing instructions on how and on what terms to move forward with the existing tenancies.
  5. Liaising promptly with the New Business team to instruct properties to be remarketed at the end of a current tenancy in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Negotiating and agreeing renewal terms between Landlords & tenants.
  7. Preparing subsequent tenancy renewal agreements, Section 13 Notices, Section 21 Notices and overseeing the signing/execution of these documents (primarily via e-signature software).
  8. Reporting on a weekly basis to the Lettings Director on the status of all tenancy renewals to ensure there is clear visibility on the workload and performance of the renewals department.
The right candidate will:
  1. Have experience within lettings and specifically renewals/serving of notices and/or drawing up tenancy agreements.
  2. Have a proven track record of achievement within customer service.
  3. Be motivated to work to and exceed personal targets.
  4. Be able to learn quickly, take responsibility and strive for success.
  5. Be a tenacious and driven individual who isn't afraid of hard work.
  6. Possess excellent communication skills, with a confident telephone manner.
  7. Be accurate, numerate and computer literate.
  8. Have some experience within the lettings industry.
