Job description

One of my top clients is currently on the lookout for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. My client is a well-known RC Frame / Demolition / Groundworks contractor who has an outstanding reputation within the industry.


This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in temporary works design, with at least 5+ years of experience across various types of temporary works design including demolition and cut and carve structures.


Responsibilities:
  1. To provide design output and methodology for the construction and removal of Temporary Works.
  2. To liaise as necessary with the site Temporary Works Coordinator.
  3. Provide support to the Head Office tendering team.
  4. Site visits to discuss the methodology or carry out a supplementary inspection.

What you need:
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Chartered desired but not essential.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
