Job description

At AQA, we’re committed to advancing education and we’re committed to our people. As the largest provider of academic qualifications in the UK, we mark over 10 million exam papers each year and it’s our people who make this happen.

Are you someone who appreciates the importance of a smile?

Here at AQA, we know that a Receptionist can make the difference to a visitor's day, and greeting them with a smile is the first step!

We strive to provide a welcoming, positive, and engaging first impression to our AQA offices; and by being part of our Reception team over the busy exam period, you will play a part in this through interactions with our colleagues, contractors, and visitors.

Beyond greeting people as they arrive, our Reception Team is responsible for tasks including visitor and contractor management, access and security control to our buildings, meeting room bookings, and administrative housekeeping.

Over the exam period, you'll find yourself in a fast-paced environment, so it's important you have the ability to prioritize and work flexibly at pace, whether on your own or alongside our other Receptionists.

Ideally, you'll have previous reception/front of house experience, along with good admin and computer skills; however, training and support will be available to cover AQA-specific processes.

Our Manchester Offices truly are the center of our operations, and the beginning of everyone's journey here is with our integral Receptionist Team.
