Are you an experienced L&H claims professional looking to broaden your experience in the UK and Ireland markets? This is a short-term opportunity (6 months) to work within an agile energized claims team providing value add services to client claims functions from within a reinsurance environment.
About the Role
The predominant responsibility of the role is to work with our clients providing the benefit of Swiss Re resources and services in the assessment and management of L&H claims, providing you the experience of working across a broad array of client products and claim types across the group and individual market.
About the Team
The L&H Reinsurance Claims Team is part of the Underwriting & Claims Team working together within the Swiss Re UKI Market Unit. We are an agile team of claims specialists who work collaboratively with our clients to provide claims expertise, insight, services and experience to manage both our in-force business and influence new business activity.
About You
As this is a short-term opportunity, we are looking for somebody with L&H claims decision making experience to allow individual accountability relatively quickly.
Essential
- Held/hold L&H claim decision making authority within the UK/Ireland L&H insurance market
- At least 3 years experience in a L&H claims environment
- A fluent English speaker with strong verbal & written communication skills
- Can work at speed and with agility to strict turnaround times
Nice to have
- Advanced Diploma in insurance/Diploma in Life & Disability claims
