Temporary HR Advisor

Would you like to work for a charitable organisation that helps teachers and students realise their potential, while being supported and learning from a collaborative group of HR professionals?
We are looking for a Temporary HR Advisor to join the team and hit the ground running. You would deliver robust and informed HR advice to managers and employees in relation to all aspects of the employee lifecycle including absence management, conduct, performance management, grievances, probation reviews and change management.
Within AQA, you will be known as a People Advisor. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in People Group (Recruitment and Talent, Learning and Development, People Partnering and our People Services team) and will support teams across the business in multiple sites – Manchester, Guildford, London and Milton Keynes.
To be considered you must have experience of working in an HR Advisor role and be self-driven, proactive and autonomous.
Location: AQA Manchester (University of Manchester campus) - our smart working approach means that you can expect to work up to 3 days a week from home.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Contract Dates: 4 month contract with ASAP start, there will be the possibility of being considered for a permanent position.
Hourly Rate: £18.08 per hour.
