Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Client Director to join their Corporate Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. Based in Jersey, this role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate and institutionally owned multi-jurisdictional structures, including companies, limited partnerships, and unit trusts. The successful candidate will provide expert governance, regulatory, and risk management oversight while leading a Corporate Services team.

Job Duties:

• Develop and enhance regulatory, compliance, and risk management policies for corporate structures.
• Oversee client portfolios, providing expert advice and collaborating with internal teams.
• Act as a director or alternate director for client companies, leading client and board meetings.
• Manage corporate client relationships, ensuring high service standards.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to support business development.
• Lead and manage a Corporate Services team, ensuring business goals and targets are met.
• Contribute to the leadership function, aligning with the organisation's strategic objectives.
• Communicate effectively within the team, providing regular reporting and feedback.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Drive innovation and uphold strong leadership principles.
• Oversee financial performance, monitor profitability, and contribute to management reporting.

Job Requirements:

• JFSC Category A employee with a Table 4 qualification or regulator-approved status.
• Proven experience in a similar senior role within financial services.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate and implement effective solutions.
