Description

  1. Lead Generation & Networking: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients, brokers, real estate agents, financial advisors, and other key industry players. Actively attend networking events, industry conferences, and community outreach initiatives to expand the company's brand and mortgage offerings.

  2. Business Development & Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase market share in the mortgage sector. Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

  3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing them with guidance on mortgage products and services. Ensure clients have a seamless experience throughout the loan application process.

  4. Consultative Sales: Work with clients to assess their mortgage needs and recommend the most suitable products, ensuring clients are fully informed and educated on the various options available.

  5. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets. Track, report, and analyze sales metrics and make adjustments to strategies as needed to meet goals.

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the underwriting, operations, and compliance teams to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage process for clients.

  7. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, new mortgage products, and regulatory changes. Provide feedback to senior management on market conditions and emerging opportunities.

  8. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other related documents to leadership. Provide insight into the business development strategies that are most effective in driving growth.

Profile

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the mortgage or financial services industry.

  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage products, services, and the overall mortgage market.

  3. Skills:

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

    • Analytical skills to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
