Express Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a creative marketing agency based in south Nottingham who specialise in providing bespoke B2B marketing solutions for a diverse range of clients, who are looking for a Video Editor to join their rapidly growing team.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be competent in graphic design, motion design, animation and Adobe After Effects. The role is offered on an initial temporary basis, with a view of becoming permanent after 4 weeks. Applicants must have a portfolio where past successes are showcased.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos that align with client guidelines and objectives
• Deliver creative solutions that exceed expectations and work closely with our team to understand project requirements
• Incorporate graphics, effects, and animations to enhance the overall quality of videos
• Discover and implement new editing techniques whilst keeping up to date with industry trends
• Prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a video editor
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve or similar tools
• Strong understanding of post-production techniques, including colour correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, file compression
• Ability to edit long, mid and short content for distribution on many platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in work across all projects
