Temporary Legal Administrator

Your new company
This is working for an impressive and well-established Bury St Edmunds based business.

Your new role
This is a new temporary Legal Assistant job to support my business while they recruit on a permanent basis. You will be joining a 14-strong team in their open-plan offices. You will be responsible for general and legal administration, collaborating with different teams across the business, gathering information and updating records. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with legal documentation
  • Prepare and issue the relevant legal paperwork
  • Filing, photocopying, incoming and outgoing post duties, and scanning
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Requesting legal searches
  • Checking files

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will need to be an experienced administrator or secretary with the ability to manage your own workloads whilst working as part of the wider admin team, as well as being:

  • A methodical worker with an accurate approach to all tasks with close attention to detail
  • Pleasant outgoing personality and confident telephone manner
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and willingness to learn together with a 'can-do' attitude
