Job description

Job purpose:

The Employee's work as a Telesales Research Executive will be varied, however the Employee's primary function will be to qualify opportunities through methods such as cold calling and researching companies based on key information, to support the Business Development team book appointments with prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Qualify and cultivate new business opportunities that are either generated personally, by members of the team or the external market through research and cold calling.
  2. Generate leads from actively researching publications, lease breaks and growing industries, sectors and businesses.
  3. Cleanse and update the CRM database with up to date and accurate information.
  4. Register and identify lease expiry opportunities, qualifying whether they could be new business opportunities for our client and external business partners.
  5. Review, update, and track opportunities within the company CRM database. Maintaining a list of potential leads to follow up on regularly.
  6. Building a good quality individual database of prospective opportunities.
  7. Maintains a strong working knowledge of the market and the business to better qualify new business opportunities.
  8. Provide any ad hoc administrative support to the Business Development team.

The Employee will be working with other team members as is required and will report directly to the Head of Business Development on all matters within the Business Development team.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience within a telesales, customer service or sales environment.
  2. Experience of working with and accurately maintaining a CRM system (non-essential).
  3. Confident with cold calling and ability to join the dots.
  4. Ability to build rapport.
  5. A pro-active individual who is driven to achieve and to support the Business achieve its targets.
  6. A high level of written and verbal communication.
  7. Previous experience within the Design and Build or Real Estate industry (non-essential).
