Telesales Representative (FMCG)

VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading FMCG distributor that operates across the island. The company is seeking to add a telesales representative (FMCG) to the team.

This is office-based employment in Carrickfergus.

Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 (DOE) basic plus bonus and attendance bonus

Responsibilities:

• Daily sales cycle of calls in securing and processing orders.
• Building strong relationships along with the senior sales team to a wide customer base.
• Maintaining sales targets, product development, along with targeted promotional campaigns. Additional sales training will be provided to help with your knowledge of the products we provide.
• Always ensuring the highest level of customer care.

Essential Criteria:

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Confident communication skills with a natural ability to build instant rapport with customers.
• Good motivational skills within a team environment.
• Adaptable to work to deadlines by managing time appropriately.
• Good reading, numeracy, and accuracy skills, and a personality to work in a fun and engaging role.
• A good standard of education is required, particularly in English Language and Maths.
• Good knowledge of IT systems; knowledge of Microsoft products would be beneficial.
