THE ROLE:

  • Follow up on all enquiries productively and proactively.
  • Maintain the customer database.
  • Create leads - discover prospective customers using a diverse range of methods.
  • Create appointments with potential customers.
  • Make outgoing calls to establish contact with potential customers and introduce the company.
  • Recognise customer requirements.
  • Provide information to potential customers such as product features, pricing and benefits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential customers, keeping in touch with them.
  • Log and monitor sales activities and leads.
  • Negotiate on pricing, address problems, and eliminate obstacles.
  • General ad-hoc administration duties.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience within a telesales or business development role is crucial.
  • Have a strong telephone manner and presence.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
  • Be motivated and resilient.
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
