Job Title: Telephone Collector

Salary Range: £22,500 to £25,000 + Bonuses

Location: Sheffield

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

1. You will be making and receiving telephone calls from businesses and individuals to recover outstanding debts.
2. Handling difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner with customers over the telephone.
3. Entering accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database.
4. Following processes and guidelines regarding debt collection.
5. Working in an open plan, contact centre environment - achieving personal and team targets.
6. Accurately entering customer payment details into our systems - ensuring these are entered correctly first time around.

About the Business:

CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a firm who due to their ambitious growth plans, are looking to strengthen our team based from offices just outside of Sheffield City Centre. They are part of a group employing over 500 people, in debt recovery, throughout the UK. They work with some of the largest retail, banking and commercial businesses around the UK to help recover overdue debts and arrange payment solutions, helping people clear their debts. Working shifts between 8am to 8pm - Monday to Friday, your primary role will be making and receiving telephone calls with customers to arrange payment of outstanding debts.

Application Criteria:

1. You will hold a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a telephony based role.
2. You will require experience and exposure to telephone collections / debt recovery and/or credit control.
