Rate: Standard rate First 8 hours Monday to Friday £20.00 per hour // OT1 - Over 8 hours Monday to Friday & Saturday - £24.00 per hour // OT2 All hours Sunday
Start Date: Monday 28th April 2025

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Telehandler Operator (A77 360 Slew) to support operations on a power generation site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient material handling, supporting ongoing construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a 360 slew telehandler (A77) in accordance with site safety regulations and CPCS standards.
2. Safely lift, move, and place materials as directed, including heavy loads and large structures.
3. Work in restricted and potentially hazardous areas, maintaining full awareness of site-specific risks.
4. Support logistics and delivery of tools, equipment, and materials to different areas of the site.
5. Carry out daily checks and minor maintenance on the telehandler to ensure full operational safety.
6. Follow instructions from the site supervisor and coordinate with other trades and site operatives.
7. Maintain a clean and organised working area, ensuring all activities meet safety and environmental standards.
8. Assist with other site duties as required when not operating the machine.

Requirements:

1. CPCS/NPORS A77 360 Slew Telehandler ticket (essential).
2. Previous experience operating a 360 telehandler on a high-risk or industrial site (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.).
3. Valid CCNSG card.
4. Strong understanding of health & safety, especially in hazardous environments.
5. Ability to work as part of a team and follow strict instructions.
6. Previous experience working on COMAH or refinery sites.
