Location: South Yorkshire Office

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000

The role of the Tekla Draughtsperson - Structural Steel will involve:

1. Dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies, and balustrades.
2. Producing general arrangement drawings (GA's) and 3D models from Engineer's designs.
3. Liaising with clients, Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to obtain required information.
4. Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings.
5. Working closely with the Production Team and Design Engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication.
6. Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £2m.

The ideal applicant will be a Tekla Draughtsperson - Structural Steel with:

1. Tekla design/detailing experience.
2. Capability to liaise with internal departments and customers.
3. IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
4. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
